Sora in October!
|
The month of October is also known as “Sora in October”!
Do you know our district provides digital resources such as ebooks, audiobooks, and streaming video for 24/7 access? NISD's Sora/Overdrive does just that! Let's all "Sora in October", NISD's month-long promotion of our Sora Digital Library. The digital library encourages our students to check out books, audiobooks, and streaming video even when the physical library is closed. To begin using Sora all you need is a digital device! Log in using your "s" or "e" ID#. If you need more information on Sora for you and your studens contact Mrs. Bayardo! |
It's not about the number of checkouts, it's about reading! This year, we're going to celebrate NISD Reads for 21 in 2021. All students who have read a total of 441 minutes (21 days of reading for 21 minutes) on Sora, between the dates of September 1, 2021 - October 31, 2021, will qualify to be in a drawing to win a Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
There are two tablets available to win! One will be awarded to an elementary student, the other a secondary student... so there are more chances to win!
